25 year old male arrested and charged for Robbery

first_imgFacebook Twitter Google+LinkedInPinterestWhatsAppTurks and Caicos, May 23, 2017 – Providenciales – Detectives if the Royal Turks and Caicos Islands Police Force have formally Charged and Cautioned a 25 year old male with Robbery and Possession of Imitation Firearm in connection with a report Thursday 11th May 2017 in Kew Town Providenciales.Around 8:31pm that day, officers responded to the Shanda Bar after receiving reports of a Robbery and that the culprit was subdued by someone outside of the bar. Upon arrival, the victim was located and told officers that the 25 year old male approached him with a scarf over his face and demanded money. After he told the man he has no money and walk off, the culprit pulled what appears to be a gun and followed him into the bar. HE ordered the victim out of the bar and while back on the outside, he was tackled to the ground and held down until police arrival. In his possession was a Black and Pink BB Gun.He was arrested and taken to the station. first_imgBNP Chairperson Khaleda ZiaA Dhaka court on Thursday fixed 25, 26 February for the next hearing of Zia Charitable Trust graft case against BNP chairperson Khaleda Zia and three other accused, reports UNB.Judge Md Akhteruzzaman of Dhaka Special Court-5 fixed the date for placing arguments of lawyer of accused Ziaul Islam Munna and Md Aminul Islam.BNP chairperson Khaleda Zia was present during the hearing.On 8 August 2011, the Anti-Corruption Commission filed the Zia Charitable Trust graft case with Tejgaon police station accusing four people, including Khaleda Zia, of abusing power in raising funds for the trust from unknown sources.last_img
